Russian team tops placing table in Ostrava

Russian team scored 220 points at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava and topped the placing table. Russian athletes took 10 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.

Pyotr Bogatyryov won and Denis Strelkov took the bronze medal in the men’s 20kmRW at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. Bogatyryov clocked 1:24:20 and Strelkov clocked 1:24:25. Valery Filipchuk finished 4th - 1:24:30.
