Russian team tops placing table in Ostrava 17.07.2011 Russian team scored 220 points at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava and topped the placing table. Russian athletes took 10 gold, 6 silver and 5 bronze medals.

	Bogatyryov wins, Strelkov takes bronze medal in 20kmRW 17.07.2011 Pyotr Bogatyryov won and Denis Strelkov took the bronze medal in the men’s 20kmRW at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. Bogatyryov clocked 1:24:20 and Strelkov clocked 1:24:25. Valery Filipchuk finished 4th - 1:24:30.

	Menkov wins men’s long jump 16.07.2011 Aleksandr Menkov won the men’s long jump at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. He achieved 8.08m.
	Kolodko wins shot put in Ostarva 15.07.2011 Yevgeniya Kolodko won the women’s shot put at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. She achieved 18.87m. Olesya Sviridova was 7th with 16.81m.
	Arzhakova wins 800m in Ostrava 15.07.2011 Yelena Arzhakova won the women’s 800m at the European U23 Championships in Ostrava. She set PB of 1:59.41 and was the only one who clocked a sub-2 minute time.
