Russian team wins at Universiade 2005
Russian athletes won the largest number of medals at Universiade 2005 that finished in Izmir, Turkey. Our team won 20 medals, 11 gold, 3 silver and 6 bronze, topping the medal table. Polish team won 7 medals and Chinese team won 9 ones.

Russian athletes won two medals on Day 5 at the Universiade 2005 in Izmir yesterday. Anna Chicherova cleared 1.90 mesters in the women’s high jump and won the gold medal. Nadezhda Bazhenova was third in the women’s triple jump — 13,90m.

Natalia Nazarova won the women’s 400m with 51.31 seconds at Universiade 2005 in Izmir. Now, our team has 7 medals, 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 broze.
