Tatyana Kotova won the womens long jump at the Filothei Women Gala 2007 meeting in Athens, Greece, yesterday. She achieved 6.82meters.

Russian record holder (2.40) Vyacheslav Voronin became the Russian season leader in the mens high jump clearing 2.30m at the Artur Takach Memorial in Beograd and placing second after Iouannou Kyriakos (2.32) of Greece.

Aleksey Drozdov placed fourth in Gotzis

Aleksey Drozdov finished fourth in the decathlon at the 33rd Hypo-Meeting IAAF Combined Events Challenge held in Gotzis, Austria, this weekend. Drozdov set a new personal best of 8373 points.

Tatyana Lysenkos World record corrected

Tatyana Lysenko set a new World record in the womens hammer throw at the Russian athletic meeting in Sochi yesterday, but the previously reported result from Sochi was incorrect. The correct result, that is the new World record, is 78.61m.

Tatyana Mnatsakanova and Lada Chernova placed second in Spain

Lada Chenova palced second in the womens javelin throw with 57.91m at the yesterdays EAA meeting in Andalucia, Spain. Tatyana Mnatsakanova was second in the womens high jump with 1.89m.
