Isinbayeva and Chicherova start in January

Two-time Olympic champion Yelena Isinbayeva and World champion Anna Chicherova will start the 2012 indoor season in January.
Yelena Isinbayeva who spent 1 day in Moscow to take a part in a charity evening to support masters of Russian Athletics said that she is okay and she is preparing to the indoor season. Firstly, she will compete on 21 January in her home town of Volgograd at the Governor Cup.
Anna Chicherova will jump on 9 January in Chelyabinsk at the Lukashevich Memorial. Anna said, that she doesn’s know she will compete at the World Championships in Istanbul because of the Olympic season starts early and she is in doubt to manage to recover after the winter. She will make a final decision with her coach Yevgeniy Zagorulko. Anna confirmed she will jump at the Golden High Jump Gala in Belgium on 28 January. She added, that she want to face Olympic champion Tia Hellebaut, who missed the last season after giving birth to her baby. Anna is impressed by Tia’s decision to return to the atheltics having two children and want to talk to her about it.
