Silnov and Ukhov take medals in Istanbul

Andrey Silnov took the silver medal in the men’s high jump at the World Indoor Championships in Istanbul. He cleared 2.33m. Ivan Ukhov placed third with 2.31m.
“I am not satisfied with the silver. I planned to jump higher, but had some technical difficulties at 2.35m. This is my first major championships after the Olympics so it is still a very positive result», said Silnov.
