Petrova-Arkhipova finishes third

Tatyana Petrova-Arkhipova finished third in the women’s marathon at the Games of the XXX Olimpiad in London. She set a personal best of 2:23:29 and beat the World’s best marathoners.
Three Russian runners competed in the women’s marathon including Liliya Shobukhova, Tatyana Petrova-Arkhipova and Albina Mayorova. Shobukhova left the course after 22km because of her injury. Mayorova finished 9th with 2:25:38.
