Russians win 5 European Cup Winter Throwing.

The Russian team won the 5th European Cup Winter Throwing, held in Mersin, Turkey, during the last weekend. Russia took 16936 points, while Germany placed second with 16441 and Italy was in third – 15807.
Aleksandr Ivanon won the men’s javelin throw with 81,13 m. Igor Sukhomlinov took the second place – 80,02m.
This year’s European Bronze medalist Olga Riabinkina won the women’s shot put with 18,41 m. Natalia Sadova was unbeaten in the women’s discus throw – 61,74 m.
