Galina Bogomolova set Russia’s Marathon record

Galina Bogomolova set a new Russian record in the women’s marathon clocking 2:20:47 in Chicago. She beat Lyudmila Petrova’s record of 2:21;29 (24.04.2006, London). This time, Petrova was eighth with 2:27:08.
