The accreditation for the press conference dedicated to the Russian Athletics Federation Extraordinary Election Conference is open. The Election Conference and press conference will take place on 16 January 2016 in the HQ of the Russian Olympic Committee.
All the journalists who would like to be accredited for the press conference shall send their applications to alla@rusathletics.com to the attention of the RusAF Press Liaison Alla Glushchenko.
All the applications should be on the editorial letterhead signed by the Editor-in-Chief and should have the full name and surname of the journalist (for TV Channels it is also obligatory to put the full name and surname of the operator and assistant).
The deadline for the applications is 15 January, 12:00.
The Press conference will take place immediately after the Russian Athletics Federation Extraordinary Election Conference (exact time unknown). Before the beginning of the Election conference on 16 January at 11:00 there will be a 10-minute protocol photo and video shooting in the Conference Hall. After that all the accredited journalists will be allowed to wait for the end of the Elections in room 308 that will be also the place of the official Press Conference.
Russian Athletics Federation Extraordinary Election Conference will start on 16 January 2016 (Saturday) at 11:00 at Luzhnetskaya naberezhnaya, 8.
Access to the HQ of the Russian Olympic Committee will be limited to the accredited journalists and by editorial ID only (the lists of the names of all accredited journalists will be at the security point at the entrance).
At the Russian Athletics Federation Extraordinary Election Conference new governing bodies of the Federation including the President will be elected. The Conference delegates should make changes to the RusAF Constitution, discuss the reports of the Federation’s Council on the reformation process and measures taken after the WADA Independent Commission Report, IAAF Commission and Federation’s activities plan approved in April 2015.
