Meeting in Novogorsk

In addition to the Minister of Sport and RusAF President, meeting was attended by Mr. Yuri Nagornykh, Deputy Minister of Sport, Mr. Mikhail Butov, RusAF General Secretary, and Mr. Yuri Borzakovsky, Chief coach of the National teams of Russia.

A constructive and business like discussion took place in the course of the meeting. Athletes were informed about the immediate plans focused on RusAF reinstatement with the IAAF family. Mr. Vitaly Mutko mentioned that Ministry of Sport together with RusAF and Interim Coordination Committee (ICC) fulfil all and every requirement and criteria of the IAAF Task Force.

Mr. Dmitry Shliakhtin requested athletes to take part in any contact with the Interim Coordination Committee of the Olympic Committee of Russia and provide any evidence that they will be asked to provide. RusAF President informed athletes that process of  interviewing of the members of National team will start soon, which is one of the criteria of the IAAF Task Force. RusAF President confirmed his availability with regard to any questions that may arise.

At the end of the meeting, members of the Russia National team and their coaches had the opportunity to raise matters of concern with the Minister and RusAF President.

After the end of the meeting, Mr. Dmitry Shliakhtin met with Senior coaches of the Russia National team.
