Ivan Ukhov sidelined by foot injury

One of the high Jump gold medal hopes Ivan Ukhov (RUS) has pulled out of the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Birmingham due to a heel injury.
His agent Pavel Voronkov explained that it happened at his last meeting in Yekaterinburg. His world lead is 2.39m and his duel with Sweden´s duo Holm-Thornblad was set to be one of the highlights of the Championships.
