Yuliya Golubchikova wins in Doha

On her season’s first start, Yuliya Golubchikova won at the Qatar IAAF World Super Tour 2007, an IAAF Super Grand Prix meeting, held in Doha, Qatar, yesterday.
Yuliya cleared 4.54m in the women’s pole vault 10 cm ahead of Silke Spigelburg from Germany. Tatyana Polnova placed sixth with 4.25m.
Tatyana Lysenko placed second in the women’s hammer throw achieving 75.73m. Yekaterina Khoroshikh was fifth with 70.75m and Olga Kuzenkova was sixth with 63.87m.
Tatyana Kotova achieved 6.63m in the women’s long jump and placed second.
Sergey Markov was fourth in the men’s javelin throw with 82.48m.
