Sergey Makarov: 87.05 in Dessau

Sergey Makarov achieved the season’s third result of 87.05m in the men’s javelin throw placing second at the yesterday’s Anhalt 2007 meeting in Dessau, Germany.
On his first attempt, Makarov was the best, but Latvia’s Vadims Vasilevskis was the leader on the second attempt and the third one, achieving 83.63 and 87.56 meters compared to Makarov’s 83.01 and 82.17m correspondingly.
On his last attempt, Makarov achieved his best result at the meeting, but he needed more than 51cm to win.
Olesya Bufalova won the women’s triple jump with 14.25m.
