2 medals on Day 2 at World Youth Championships

Russian team won 2 medals on Day 2 at the 5th IAAF World Youth Championships, 1 gold and 1 bronze, yesterday.
Natalya Mamlina became a World Champion setting in the girls high jump a World Youth leading of 1.89m. She accurately cleared all the marks 1.70 to 1.86 m. And even 1.86m were enough to win, she cleared 1.89m at her second attempt.

Vladimir Krasnov finished third at the boys 400m clocking 47.03 seconds.
