Russia wins 4 medals on Day 4 in Ostrava

Russian athletes won 4 medals on Day 4 at the 5th IAAF World Youth Championships being held in Czech city of Ostrava. After Day4, our team is placing second with 8 medals behind of Kenya with 9 medals and ahead of USA with 8 medals.
Stanislav Yemelyanov won yesterday’s first medal in the boys’ 10.000mRW clocking 41:29.91 witch are the new course record.

Aleksey Fedorov and Gennadiy Chudinov placed second and third in the boys’ triple jump correspondingly. Both set personal bests.

Sergey Mudrov placed second in the boys’ high jump achieving a World youth leading of 2.22meters. Sergey let Chen Wang form Chine to win the event by attemps.
