Savchenko clears 2 meters

Yekaterina Savchenko won the women’s high jump at yesterday’s 3rd Monika Iagar Grand Prix in Bucharest, clearing 2 meters for the first time in her indoor career. Aleksandr Shustov won the men’s high jump with 2.27m.
In the women’s division, Russians took next two places. Anna Chicherova was second improving her season best to 1.98m, and Svetlana Shkolina placed third with 1.95m.
