High results at Moscow Open

Moscow Open meeting, held on 10 June at the Sportivny Gorodok area of Luzhniki, was rich in high results. The meeting’s main hero was Anastasiya Kapachinskaya winning the women’s 200m with a European season best of 22.48 seconds.
In the last meters, Anastasiya beat Yuliya Gushchina (second at two meetings of the IAAF Golden League) clocking 22.82. Their next meeting will be the 50th Znamensky Memorial on 15 June, but they will compete in the 400m with a strong line-up.

Yuliya Kondakova showed a good run over the women’s 100mH winning with a Russian season best of 12.79 seconds.

Pavel Potapivich clocked 8:24.04 in the men’s 3000mSt, and Ildar Minshin, 23, was second clocking 8:25.41.

Yaroslav Rybakov cleared 2.32m in the men’s high jump becoming a Russia season leader.

Sergey Makarov won the men’s Javelin throw with 82.73m, and Sergey Kucheryanu was unbeatable in the men’s Pole vault clearing 5.80m.

Among the results of the Znamensky Memorial competitors, there were 51.58sec in the women’s 400m by Tatyana Veshkurova, 17.29m in the men’s Triple jump by Dmitriy Valukevich (Slovakia) and 54.91sec in the women’s 400mH by Anastasiya Rabchenyuk (Ukraine).
