Bogdanova places fourth

Anna Bogdanova is placing fourth in the women’s heptathlon after Day 1 at the Olympic Games in Beijing. Her current result is 3922 points.
Anna is behind of Kelly Sotherton of Great Britain placing third by 16 points, and the leader is Hyleas Fountain of USA with 4060 points.
Anna set two personal bests: in the 200m clocking 24.24 and in the 100mH clocking 13.09. Olga Kurban set a personal best in the shot put achieving 13.84m.
Kurban is placing 15th with 3683, and Tatyana Chernova is on the 10th place scoring 3749.
