Anna Chicherova takes women’s high jump bronze

Anna Chicherova placed third in the women’s high jump final at the Olympic Games in Beijing. She cleared 2.03m repeating her personal best. Defending Olympic Champion Yelena Slesarenko placed fourth clearing 2.01. Svetlana Shkolina was 14th with 1.93.
