Russian team third at European Youth Olympic Festival.

The 8th European Youth Olympic Festival closed in Italian city of Lignano yesterday. Russian team placed first in the medal table with 17 gold, 16 silver and 12 bronze medals. Russian athletic team won 3 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze medals.
Liukman Adams won the men’s triple jump with 15.35 meters.
Ivan Byzin clocked 13.92 seconds in the men’s 110mH.
Yevgeni Siuremov cleared 4.70 meters in the men’s pole vault.
Russian athletic team lost to Netherlands (5 gold, 1 silver, 2 bronze medals) and Germany (3 gold, 3 silver, 2 bronze medals).
