Russians finish third in Japan

Russian team placed third at the tradition Ekiden in Chiba (Japan) clocking 2:08:04. The team consisted of Grigoriy Andreyev, Liliya Shobukhova, Yevgeniy Rybakov, Olesya Syryeva, Anatoliy Rybakov and Mariya Konovalova.
The best time was clocked by the Ethiopian team, and the Japans were second.
A team lineup included 3 men and 3 women like it was last year. Before, Ekidens were held for men and women separately.
Among the Russians, Mariya Konovalova was excellent clocking the best time of 23:31 at the 6th stage.
