Snow fall – think of Athletics!

People in Central Russia have waited for first snow – portent of winter – this year. For athletics fans, it is a traditional reminder of an important event. Before very long, many World’s strongest athletes bring together on 1 February in Moscow at CSKA arena to compete at the Russian Winter meeting.
In 2009, there will be the 18th edition of the Russian Winter, which is an IAAF Permit Indoor meeting. The Russian Winter brings fans and TV viewers a good opportunity to see a fine show and a true performance of the sport.
This time, the actors will be Famous athletes, Olympic, World and European champions, and young athletes, who will have a chance to show themselves in the beginning of the new Olympic season.
The program consists of 12 events: the men’s and the women’s 60m, 300m, 1000m, 60mH and long jump, and the men’s high jump and pole vault. There will be other surprises for the crowd besides of non-classic track events. We will certainly see an interesting competition, new records and the true triumph of the Athletics.
