2009 Russian Winter – new athletics show

A new athletics show in 12 acts is being prepared to be showed on 1 February at the CSKA area in Moscow.
Some intrigues are known to be seen. Maybe, the main one is a fight in the men’s 1000m between Yuriy Borzakovskiy and strong runners from African continent.
Other intrigue is a participation of World Indoor silver medalist Chris Tomlinson of Great Britain and Poland’s Marcin Starzak in the men’s long jump in addition to Andrew Howe of Italy. So, there is no doubt that the crowd will see jumps over 8 meters.
In the women’s division, Russia’s Lyudmila Kolchanova and Oksana Udmurtova confirmed their participation.
