Rybakov and Lukyanenko win in Sweden

Yaroslav Rybakov won the men’s high jump at the Samsung Galan meeting held in Goeteborg. He cleared 2.31m. Yevgeniy Lukyanenko won the men’s pole vault with 5.55m.
The fight for the first place was at 2.31m. Before, Sweden’s Linus Thornblad cleared 2.25 on his second and 2.28 on his first attempt, and Yaroslav Rybakov cleared 2.25 on the first attempt and 2.28 on the second one. 2.31 was won by Rybakov on his third attempt.
In the men’s pole vault, Yevgeniy Lukyanenko and Alhaji Jeng shared the first place. They competed equally: cleared 5.55 on second, passed 5.65, three unsuccessful attempts at 5.75 and unsuccessful attempts at 5.75 and 5.70 in the jump-off.
Aleksandr Shustov and Viktor Chastyakov placed third in the men’s high jump (2.25) and the men’s pole vault (5.35) respectively.
Svetlana Nabokina finished fifth in the women’s 60m clocking 7.42sec.
