Gushchina, Yevdokimova and Gerasimov win in Belgium

Pavel Gerasimov won the men’s pole vault clearing 5.75m at the KBC Indoor meeting held in Gent, Belgium.
Olympic 4x100m champion Yulliya Gushchina won the women’s 200m clocking 23.76m. Another Bejing winner Yuliya Chermoshanskaya finished fifth with 24.18.
Natalya Yevdokimova was the best in the women’s 1 mile final where she clocked 4:29.29 with 4:11.51 for the 1500m split.
1999 World Champion Vyacheslav Voronin placed second the men’s high jump with a modest result of 2.20m. The winner was Ukraine’s Aleksandr Nartov with 2.23.
Aleksandra Antonova finished fifth in the women’s 60mH clocking 8.22sec. In the men’s division, Konstantin Shabanov was seventh with 7.88.
Andrey Yepishin couldn’t qualify for the men’s 60m final clocking 6.77 in the heats.
