Borzakovskiy third in Düsseldorf

Yuriy Borzakovskiy (included in the Russian team for Torino) finished third in the men’s 800m at the 4. International Athletics PSD Bank Meeting in Düsseldorf clocking 1:47.29.
The Russian let win Olympic Silver medalist Ahmadu Ismail of Sudan with 1:46.75 and Boaz Lalang of Kenya with 1:47.24 during a fairly slow heat (first 400m – 53.00).
Anna Pyatykh did not mark in the women’s triple jump because of 3 failed attempts.
