Ukhov: gold, Dmitrik: silver

Ivan Ukhov won the men’s high jump at the European Indoor Championships in Turino clearing 2.32m. Aleksey Dmitrik shared the second place with Ioannu Kiriaros of Cyprus with 2.29m.
Ivan Ukhov said, “My only task was to win this competition and it was a tough job. I did everything to became the winner and to show I am a good athlete, and improve my renome after Lausanne last year. It is truth 2.32m is not that high for me but it is already high enough for the others. I was not thinking about my opponents before and during the competition, I was just focusing on my attempts”.
