Anna Alminova: “I wanted to win”

Anna Alminova won the women’s 1500m at the European Indoor Championships clocking 4:07.76.
After the finish, she said, “I had to change my tactics before the competition but it worked well. I am very happy now, so I do not feel tired and I hope I have enough energy for tomorrow 3000m final. I waited for this moment so long, I am looking forward to stand on the podium with gold medal on my neck. I will do my best tomorrow and will fight for the next victory which will be also very important for me. But for now I am totally satisfied”.
