Gold and bronze medals in women’s 400m

Antonina Krivoshapka won the women’s 400m at the European Indoor Championships in Torino clocking 51.18. Darya Safonova finished third with 51.85.
Antonina Krivoshapka, “I had som problems with heavy feet on 300-330 meters but I was able to continue in very good speed and it finished very well. I am proud of this gold medal and appreciate it a lot. I liked the competition in Torino very much”.
Darya Safonova, “It is great I got medal. It is also a little surprise for me but I ran my best from the start. There was no other tactics. The athmosphere were great here in Torino and the spectators supported us very much. I am very satisfied with my performance”.
