The 48th Golden Spike Ostrava IAAF Grand Prix Meet (planned for June 17) announced two more female stars to headline the event.

US World Indoor Champion and fastest hurdler of 2008 and 2009 indoors Lolo Jones will return to site where she already won twice (2006 and 2008) with the aim to break the meet record 12.65 set by Poland´s Grazyna Rabsztyn back in 1980 and equalled by Jamaican Brigitte Foster in 2003.

Interesting addition to women javelin is the Russian Olympic silver holder Mariya Abakumova who will have a duel with biggest current local star Barbora Spotakova. Organisers are hoping that the meet record of German Christina Obergfoll 67.72 last year will go into the history books.

As per tilastopaja the current head-to-head situation is 6:3 in favour of Spotakova. For the Czech Olympic winner and world record holder this will be the fourth competition of the season. She is planning to start the season at Danek Memorial in Turnov on May 26. Already announced stars for Ostrava are Dayron Robles, Pamela Jelimo, Blanka Vlasic and Paul Kipsiele Koech.
