Tomashova and Zadorozhnaya win in Linz

Russian athletes won in two events at the Intersport Gugl Meeting, held in Linz, Austria, yesterday. Tatiana Tomashova won in the women’s 1000 meters with a personal best of 2:34.91 minutes, and Yelena Zadorozhnaya won in the women’s 3000 meters — 8:46.05 minutes.
Yulia Chizhenko was the runner-up in the women’s 1000 meters with 2:35.20 minutes. Yelena Soboleva finished fourth in the same event, clocking 2:36.50.
Svetlana Pospelova placed fourth in the women’s 200 meters — 23.26 seconds.
