Leaders in Long jump to compete at Znamensky Memorial

2008 World Indoor Champion Naide Gomes of Portugal and Russia’s Olga Kucherenko, having European season bests, will compete at the Znamensky Memorial on 5 July in Zhukovski.

2008 World Indoor Champion Naide Gomes of Portugal and Russia’s Olga Kucherenko, having European season bests, will compete at the Znamensky Memorial on 5 July in Zhukovski.

They achieved high results at a meeting held in Germany’s city of Bad Langensalza. They result will be in the European season top list although there is nearly month to the Znamensky.

Tatyana Lebedeva plans to compete at the Znamensky memorial as well.

In addition to the women’s long jump, there are next events in the meeting’s program including the women’s 200m, 400m, 800m, 100mH, 400mH, HJ and JT and the men’s 100, 400m, 800m, TJ, PV and SP.

The Znamensky Memorial is a European Premium meeting of the World Athletics Tour.
