Personal bests for Dmitrik and Zarudneva

Aleksey Dmitrik won the men’s high jump with 2.33 at a meeting in Thesalloniki, and Yuliya Zarudneva won the women’s 3000mSt in Bydgoszcz clocking 9:23.23.

Dmitrik set his outdoor personal best (his indoor PB is 2.34). Ivan Ukhov placed fifth with 2.24 after his 2.34 in Eugene (USA). Viktoriya Klyugina was fourth in the women’s high jump clearing 1.88.

Yuliya Kondakova finished third over the women’s 100mH clocking 13.16. Aleksandra Fedoriva was seventh with 13.68.

Irina Marycheva finished seventh in the women’s 800m – 2:04.79. Yuna Mekhti-Zade finished fourth in the women’s 100m – 11.69, and Lyudmila Zuenko was sixth – 11.82.

In Bydgoszcz, Yulia Zarudneva set a PB that is a World season best. In addition to her, three more Russians took wins there. 2004 Olympic champion Yelena Slesarenko won the women’s high jump clearing 1.90 at her first meeting in the season.

Svetlana Klyuka won the women’s 800m – 2:01.22. Anna Pyatykh won the women’s triple jump – 14.41, where European Indoor champion Anastasiya Potapova-Taranova was third – 13.77.

Igor Pavlov placed second in the men’s pole vault – 5.56, and Viktor Chistyakov was fourth – 5.36.

Irina Obedina finished third in the women’s 400mH clocking 56.60. Pavel Sofyin placed third in the men’s shot put achieving 20.18m. Anton Lyuboslavsiy was fifth with 19.73. Bogdan Pishchalnikov took the fifth place in the men’s discus throw – 64.04m.

Aleksey Zagorny was firth in the men’s hammer throw (76.39). Igor Peremova finished fifth over the men’s 110mH clocking 13.70 like Aleksandr Derevyagin in the men’s 400mH with 49.79. Yuriy Koldin was seventh in the 800m with 1:48.30.

A meeting was held in Spain on Wednesday as well where Tatyana Voykina placed second in the women’s long jump with 6.26, and Pavel Fomenko was fourth in the men’s high jump – 2.19.

In Tuesday, Olga Kucherenko and Aleksandr Shustov took their wins at a meeting in Sweden’s Gothenburg. Kucherenko achieved 6.85 in the women’s long jump and Shustov cleared 2.28 in the men’s high jump.
