Alevtina Ivanova wins 10 miles

On a dismally humid and overcast morning (18,33C and 90%), the threat of rain for the 29th running of the Bobby Crim 10 mile race (27 Aug) held off until the award ceremony. The deluge of rain was so drenching, the award ceremony had to be held indoors.
Alevtina Ivanova ran to a 53:34 win with an almost perfect race, running the first half in 26:27 and 20 seconds faster in the 2nd half to defeat Romanian, Luminita Talpos who finished 2nd, 1:07 behind.
