Yuliya Kondakova, Sergey Ivanov, Olga Kucherenko and Ilya Korotkov brought to the Russian team 44 points placing seconds in their events at the 1st European Team Championships in Leiria.
In the women’s 100mH, Kondakova clocked the same time of 12.94 with Lucie Skrobakova of Czhech, so the winner (Skrobakova) was established by the photo finish.
Sergey Ivanov finished second in the men’s 3000mSt clocking 8:02.18. Olga Kucherenko was second in the women’s long jump achieving 6.73. Ilya Korotkov achieved 77.56 in the men’s javelin throw.
