Gushchina caught up in traffic jam

Olympic 4x100 Relay Champion Yuliya Gushchina finished second in the women’s 200m at the Znamensky Memorial.

Yuliya said after the finish, that she hasn’t time to recover after the Bislett Games in Oslo. In addition, she was caught up in a traffic jam on the road to Zhukovskiy and arrived 10 minutes to the start. So, she didn’t warm up well and hold a high speed. Yuliya Katsura beat her at the finish clocking 23.14. Gushchina clocked 23.16. Natalya Rusakova was third with 23.31.

Anastasiya Solovyova confirmed her high class winning the women’s 100mH in 13.06sec. She said, she could run better, but she hit the 7th hurdle. Tatyana Pavliy was second in 13.23 and Yekaterina Shtepa was third – 13.28.
