Sokolov wins 1500

Vyacheslav Sokolov, 24, won the men’s 1500m at the 25th Universiade in Belgrade clocking 3:42.49.
Sokolov beat by 1/100 seconds Samir Khadar of Algeria. Serbian Goran Nava finished third in 3:42.88.
Sokolov took the second gold medal for Russia after Sergey Bakulin who won the men’s 20kmRW.
