2 gold and 4 bronze medals in Sudtirol

Yelena Lashmanova, 17, won the women’s 5000kmRW at the 6th IAAF World Youth Championships in Sudtirol. She clocked 22:55.45. Svetlava Vasilyeva finished third with 23:00.15.
Lashmanova became the fifth Russian athlete who won a Champion title.
Vera Rudakova won the women’s 400mH and repeated her World Youth season lead of 57.83, she set in the heats.
Tatyana Stetsyuk placed third in the women’s pole vault with 4.00. Aleksandr Yurchenko was third in the men’s triple jump with 15.66, and Daniil Tsyplakov placed third in the men’s high jump – 2.17.
