Anna Avdeyeva won the women’s shot put at the Russian Championships in Cheboksary setting the World season second.
Anna could win the event on any attempt. She set a PB on her first attempt – 19.70, achieved 18.80 on her second and set a PB of 20.07 on her third.
Irina Khudoroshkina placed second – 17.38, and Anna Omarova was third - 17.27.
