Golden Borisov

24.07.2009

Yevgeniy Borisov won the men’s 110mH at the Russian Championships in Cheboksary clocking 13.60. Konstantin Shabanov was second with 13.66 and Igor Peremota finished third – 13.75.

“I started well, but made a mistake at the 8th hurdle and lost my speed. I could thank my rivals that they didn’t beat me in the end of the race. I really could clock a sub-13.50 time and set a PB, but didn’t because of my mistake on the second half of the distance. I always concentrate on the win, and I perfectly well know, it will be very hard to me to fight against Americans hurdlers and Dyron Robles at the World Championships”, said Yevgeniy Borisov.
