Chicherova is back

Anna Chicherova won the women’s high jump at the Russian Championships in Cheboksary. She was the only one who cleared 2m.
It was the third start for Chicherova this season after an operation. Anna had won at the Znamensky Memorial and placed second at the Golden Gala in Rome. Today, she cleared 1.83 to 1.94 on her first attempts. 1.96 and 1.98 was cleared by Anna on her second attempts, and she cleared her SB of 2m on her third.
Yelena Slesarenko, who competed after a long-time period, placed second with 1.96, and Svetlana Shkolina was third - 1.96.
