Russian women team places second in Edmonton

Russian women placed second at the 14th World Half Marathon Championships, held yesterday in Edmonton (Canada), clocking 3:33:05 hours. Rumanian team won the event with 3:31:00 and Japan team was third with 3:35:42.
Galina Bogomolova achieved the best result among the teammates, clocking a personal best of 1:10:34 and placing fourth. Lidia Grigorieva was seventh with a season best of 1:11:01 and Irina Timofeeva placed 11th with 1:11:30.
