Isinbayeva – 5.06!

Yelena Isinbayeva set a new World record of 5.06 in the women’s pole vault at the Weltklasse Zurich, and IAAF Golden League meeting, held in Switzerland.
Isinbayeva started at 4.71m and cleared the mark on her first. Then, she cleared 4.81 and won the event. Yelena cleared 5.06 on her first too and added the 27th World record to her collection. 2009 World champion Anna Rogowska of Poland placed second with 4.76.
2009 World silver medalist Anna Chicherova placed second in the women’s high jump clearing 1.98. Croatia’s Blanka Vlasic won the event clearing 2.01. Svetlana Shkolina placed 7th – 1.90.
