Russians’ successes in Rieti and Dubnica

Irina Meleshina won the women’s long jump at the Rieti 2009 meeting held in Italy achieving 6.91 and beating Tatyana Lebedeva with 6.85 on second and Olga Kucherenko on third (6.77).
Irina Gordeyeva won the women’s high jump clearing 1.97. Viktoriya Klyugina placed third – 1.91, and Yelena Sleasarenko was 5th – 1.87.
Viktor Chistyakov shared the first place in the men’s pole vault with Ukraine’s Maksim Mazurik. Broth cleared 5.52.
Tatyana Polnova placed second in the women’s pole vault at the Athletics bridge meeting held in Dubnica nad Vahom, Slovakia. She cleared 4.37. Yuliya Rusanova finished third in the women’s 1000m clocking 2:39.81.
