Mochalova wins in Lisbon, Ivanova runs up in Las Vegas

Yuliya Mochalova won the women’s race of the 24th Lisbon Marathon clocking 2:40.45.
Mochalova, 22, run the second marathon in her career and set her PB. She ran a marathon at the 2009 Russian Championships for the first time and finished 8th (2:41:31). Mochalova won the 2009 Russian U23 3000mSt title and was 8th in the women’s 3000mSt at the European U23 Championships as well.
Alevtina Ivanova finished second at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Las Vegas Marathon and Half Marathon. She clocked 2:30:05.
