Russian women took first three places in Houston.

Olga Romanova was the top woman in the Aramco Houston Half Marathon (16 January) with a time of 1:12:36. Fellow countrymen Liudmila Korchagina (1:12.55) and Firaia Sultanova-Zhdanova (1:13.26) finished in second and third place, respectively.
Dmitri Bumakin was fourth in the Houston Marathon, took place on the same day - 2:22.13.
Marina Bychkova won the Bermuda Marathon, achieved 2:56.07. Vera Ilina was third - 3:11.30.
Irina Timofeieva finished third in the Mumbai Marathon (India) with 2:36.42.
