Storl best ever European junior indoors

Excellent shape of World junior record holder David Storl at special shot put indoor meeting.
First he improved his national indoor record with 6 kg implement to 22.35 (his world junior record from summer is 22.73). One hour later the 19 years putter came close to his best with senior implement 20.40 (in summer 20.43). Storl marks are unofficial European indoor junior bests with 6 kg and senior implement. Official winner in senior competition was World bronze medalist Ralf Bartels with 19.48 as Storl competed here only out of competition. Other world medalist Nadine Kleinert also won her event with 18.32 ahead of Christina Schwanitz (17.11).
