26.12.2009 World

Pole Vaulter Kevin Rans was cleared from doping allegations. That was decided by the Flemish Doping Tribunal.

The 27-years old pole vaulter who is Belgian record holder in and outdoors with 570 had positive test during European Indoor Championships last March in Torino. Fortunately he was able to show that his positive test came from caffeine pills and his following two doping controls at that time brought negative results. Rans competed during the summer too and was 12th in Berlin at World Championships.
