Gripich and Gordeyeva lead season in Russia

Aleksandr Gripich won the men’s pole vault at the Springermeeting held in Cottbus, Germany. He cleared 5.70m.
Irina Gordeyeva placed second in the women’s high jump clearing 1.94. They both set Russian season bests. Sergey Kucheryanu placed 8th in the men’s pole vault with 5.40m.
