New win for Borzakovskiy

Athens Olympic champion Yuriy Borzakovskiy won the men’s 800m at the Reunion Internacional Ciudad de Valencia meeting held in Valencia, Spain.
He set a meeting record of 1:46.54 and took his fourth win from five meeting this season. Borzakovskiy is a World leader with 1:45.77 clocked in Dusseldorf.
Pavel Sofyin placed fourth in the men’s shot put with 19.48. Maksim Sidorov was sixth – 18.70. Aleksandra Kiryashova was fourth in the women’s pole vault clearing 4.41. Tatyana Kivimyagi cleared 1.84 in the women’s high jump and placed 8th. Irina Gordeyeva placed 9th with 1.80.
